Description
If the previous model of the triple quadrupole chromato-mass spectrometer LCMS-8050 set a new standard for the speed of tandem instruments, the new LCMS-8060 is designed to redefine the limits of sensitivity in modern analytical instruments.
The innovative UF-Qarray ion optics system focuses the ion flow and, in combination with a heated gas ionization source and an improved vacuum system, provides significant amplification of target ion signal intensity. At the same time, noise intensity remains unchanged and consistent with the previous model.
As a result, the signal-to-noise ratio reaches impressive values, making the LCMS-8060 the most sensitive tandem liquid mass spectrometer currently on the market: the signal-to-noise ratio for 1 pg of reserpine exceeds 750,000:1.
