Molecular spectrophotometer, AIM-9000 IR

Shimadzu (Japan)

Description

The automatic system for observing and studying micro-objects based on the AIM-9000 IR microscope and IR-Fourier spectrometers IRTracer-100 or IRAffinity-1S ensures highly sensitive and high-speed measurements of samples of various types.

This equipment set is an indispensable tool for forensic analysis, the study of new composite materials, and the detection and identification of foreign inclusions in various samples.

The heart of the device is a highly sensitive cryogenic MST detector (narrow or wide range). Additionally, the device can be equipped with a TGS detector with thermal control, and switching between them is automatic.

This configuration provides sensitivity to IR radiation across a wide range and allows the study of samples with different levels of IR absorption.

The microscope, designed according to the Cassegrain optical scheme, produces a narrowly focused IR beam required for highly sensitive micro-object analysis and supports multiple measurement methods: transmission, reflection, ATR, reflection at a grazing angle, and others.
