Particle size analyzer, SALD-2300

Shimadzu (Japan)

Description

Laser diffraction particle size analyzer

The Shimadzu SALD-2300 analyzer is designed to measure particle size distribution in the range from 17 nm to 2500 μm. It is a high-precision instrument widely used in quality control laboratories in the electronics, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, paint, and other industries.

The main unit SALD-2300 can be equipped with different modules depending on the type of samples being analyzed — for either “dry” or “wet” measurements, as well as for analyzing highly concentrated suspensions.

Advantages:

  • Wide measurement range – from nanoparticles to microparticles (17 nm – 2500 μm).
  • Capability to analyze both dry and liquid samples.
  • High accuracy and repeatability ensured by an advanced laser diffraction optical system.
  • Fast analysis without lengthy sample preparation.
  • Modular design adaptable to various analytical requirements.
