Shimadzu presents the compact UV-1280 UV-Vis spectrophotometer, designed for routine research and quantitative analysis. The instrument is based on a pseudo-double-beam optical system and features a monochromator with curved holographic diffraction gratings. The 5 nm spectral bandwidth provides high luminous efficiency and good resolution, enabling reliable and precise determination of various component concentrations.
The UV-1280 spectrophotometer includes a built-in controller for operation via a dust- and moisture-resistant keyboard. The control interface is displayed on a liquid crystal screen, and intuitive menu navigation is achieved through numbered selections. Results can be viewed on the contrast-adjustable display or printed using an optional printer connected directly to the instrument.
