Automatic hardness tester test methods for Rockwell, 3302 MRSA

ATI (Italy)

Description

The MRS series automatic hardness testers are designed for Rockwell, surface Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, and Shore test methods in compliance with ASTM and ISO international standards. This series represents high-precision benchtop systems engineered for demanding industrial and laboratory applications.

Each unit is fully motorized, providing a completely automatic testing cycle without operator intervention. The load forces are applied through strain gauges and controlled by closed-loop electronics (Afri patent), ensuring absolute accuracy (better than 0.5%) under all operating conditions.

The first measurement provides an accurate hardness result, and repeatability (R&R data) is among the best in its class. The MRS testers feature a modern digital LCD display, an intuitive interface, real-time statistics, graph visualization, and extensive data storage capabilities.

Suitable for hardness testing of all metals: cast iron, steel, hardened steel, brass, aluminum, copper, and alloys. Also ideal for heat-treated materials (hardening, cementation, nitriding, surfacing) and hard or soft plastics.
